Registration

Where do I find my Device ID?
Open EMTAC Navigator (on your Palm) and tap the green check mark to register.  Another check mark will be shown on the screen, tap that and you will be shown your Device ID.

Where do I find my serial number?
The serial number is found on the front of your QuickStart Guide that comes with your EMTAC Navigator DVD.

Where can I find my license code?
You will be given your license code after registering at www.hekosoft.de/emtacnav.

What do I do if the site tells me my serial number is invalid.
First, confirm you are using the serial number from the front of the Quickstart Guide.  If you are using the correct number, try adding a zero in front of the serial number.

I've already registered, but its asking me to register again.
The registration is tied to the storage card.  Are you using a new storage card?  If so, this could be the problem.  Please go to the registration site and re-register using your new storage card.
If you are using the same storage card, please re-enter your original license code.

Troubleshooting

I upgraded to a larger card and now it is asking me to re-register.
Please go to www.hekosoft.de/emtacnav to re-register with the larger card and enter your new license key into the software.

What does "unlock code incorrect" mean?
Please enter your serial number and license code again and check to be sure they are correctly entered.
Did you use the correct Device ID when you registered?
Have you changed storage cards?  If so, please re-register using the new device ID.

The registration site tells me my serial number is not valid.
Please use the serial number from the front of the quick start guide.
Is the serial number on the front of the quick start guide ten digits long?  If not, please add a zero to the front of the serial number.

The registration site tells me "A minimum time of 7 days has to elapse..."
This is a security measure to protect against piracy, please wait seven days and re-register your copy of EMTAC Navigator.
To use the software during this seven day period, open EMTAC Navigator and tap the red 'X' to activate the demo period.

The registration site tells me "You already exceeded your maximum number of possible registration changes of 2 tries."
We allow for one registration and one re-registration
Please continue to use the storage card and license key that worked in the past.
