Transplant GPS introduces the
launch of the RightWay Trine XL
Byron, Minnesota January 7, 2008 –
Transplant GPS announces the launch of its third
generation data logger, the RightWay Trine XL. Updated
with the SiRF Star III chip set and 500% more memory
than the original Trine, the RightWay Trine XL continues
the tradition of high quality GPS data loggers while
adding ever increasing versatility.
The RightWay Trine XL records information such as date,
time, latitude, longitude, altitude and velocity with
its built-in data logger. The data logging function can
store up to 130,000 individual data points. Logging at
one minute intervals, this translates into approximately
3 months of records; more than 5x the storage capacity
of the original Trine. Not only does it have more
storage capacity, the Trine XL can be customized to log
GPS data based on elapsed time, distance and various
speed settings to capture just the location information
you need.
The logged information can be transferred to your PC or
PDA simply via USB or Bluetooth using the included Log
Manager software. The data can also be exported directly
to Google Earth and other industry standard formats.
This provides the ability to view maps and satellite
images worldwide, making it easy to view and overlay
location information including position, speed, time,
and heading. The Trine XL is ideal for anyone needing to
track locations, whether it’s delivery logistics,
geo-caching, hiking or geo-tagging photos.
The Trine XL utilizes the SiRF Star III chip set for
high performance and low power consumption. The
rechargeable 1,100 mAh lithium battery ensures a minimum
of 13 hours continuous use. Usable as either a USB or
Bluetooth GPS, the Trine XL provides the quality you
want in a data logger with the versatility you need.
